Hi! I’m Begum and I am a Holistic Nutritionist and the founder of Moodsup Wellness.
I have been living in the U.S. since 2015 and I am married women, a mother of a beautiful daughter. I live in Houston, TX. I am also Human Nutrition and Foods student at University of Houston. I own a local coffee shop, where I love to hang out, read my books.
I love to create delicious recipes, share my favourite green beauty products and share my fave health and wellness tips along the way. I believe in incorporating a realistic approach to health and wellness without restriction or dieting.
I aim to teach women how to learn to listen to their bodies, trust their intuition and eat delicious food along the way. I believe it’s imperative to have a trusting relationship to food and your body first and foremost. As much as I love food and creating recipes, I know the importance of learning to be comfortable with yourself first.
A healthy body enhances a healthy mind. The mind-body connection means that our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and attitudes can positively or negatively affect our biological functioning. In other words, our minds can affect how healthy our bodies are! Yoga has been a form of expressive therapy for me because it helps me to understand my body and mind connection. I understand what I need, where I want to be, and why I want it. My outlook approach on personal health leads with Mind-Body Wellness connection.
I do not label myself with any diet plan. But I prefer plant-based and whole foods diet in my daily life..
Not a long time ago, I made the conscious decision to eliminate animal meat and discontinue eating "fast food and junk foods". I have been doing workouts for a long time same as yoga but what I realized it after stop to consuming meat is my body changed incredibly. I had more energy, I started to wake up early and not anymore fatigues after intense workouts. My acnes were gone, my skin was shining no more make up! I became more leaner with more muscle mass, happier and healthier. This was a personal choice for me. If you want to become vegan, great! If you want to become vegetarian, great! If not, great!
My goal here is to help create healthy life style changes whether you are a meat eater or not. ♡
